Thirty Minutes Up I-85. Newsroom Speed.
Greenville has no shortage of people with good cameras. What's harder to find is a crew that shoots like a newsroom and also knows what happens to the video after it's delivered — where it runs, who sees it and whether it moves anything.
We're based in Downtown Spartanburg, about thirty minutes from Main Street, and we shoot in Greenville County constantly. Our founder spent fifteen years in Upstate local television — executive producer at WSPA, and at WYFF 4 a utility player who worked just about every seat in the newsroom — and NBC News Channel has been a Sidestreet client for nearly a decade.
The short answer
Sidestreet Media produces video for Greenville, SC organizations from our studio in Downtown Spartanburg, about 30 minutes up I-85. We shoot brand films, testimonials, event coverage, live streams and FAA Part 107 drone footage across Greenville County — and because we also run PR and marketing, the video comes with a distribution plan, not just a file. Most brand films run $3,000–$12,000.
What We Shoot in Greenville
Brand films
The two-to-four-minute story of who you are. For Greenville's professional services firms and growing companies, it's usually the video that does the most selling.
How brand films workOverflow for in-house teams
Greenville is full of headquarters and plants with their own marketing teams. We plug in as senior production capacity when the internal team is stretched — same standards, no learning curve.
Events, conferences & hybrid
Coverage, highlight reels and live streams for conferences, galas and company meetings, with LiveU backing up venue internet.
Testimonial & recruiting video
Customers and employees in their own words. In a tight hiring market, a real look inside the building does more than a job post.
Drone & aerial
Facilities, development and construction progress across the county — planned around GSP airspace, not surprised by it.
Video that gets distributed
We also run PR and paid media, so a newsworthy shoot can become a pitch to local stations and a campaign — not a file on a drive.

What Video Costs in Greenville
These are the same ranges we publish everywhere on this site. Where a project lands depends on shoot days, locations, how many people are on camera and how much post-production it needs.
Brand film
Two to four minutes. Scripted and directed, professionally lit, edited to broadcast standards.
Testimonial or case-study video
Real customers or employees on camera. Shoots faster than a brand film.
Event coverage, single camera
Keynotes, recognition moments, highlight reel. Priced by the day.
Multi-camera live production
Live switching, graphics and a stream out to your platform of choice.
Drone, extra deliverables and rush timelines are scoped with the project. Everything's written down before a camera comes out of the case.
The Shoot Is Half the Job
Cut for where it will actually run
A single brand film usually needs to live in four shapes: 16:9 for the website and YouTube, 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, and 1:1 and 3:4 for feeds and ads. We plan the shoot so every version is framed properly, not cropped as an afterthought.
Same with length. The two-minute cut, the thirty-second ad and the fifteen-second social teaser all come out of one well-planned day.
Built by people who know the newsroom
Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and Asheville share one television market, and the stations here are always looking for good pictures. When your project is newsworthy, we know how to package b-roll and interviews so an assignment desk can actually use them.
That's the difference between a nice video and a video that gets seen by people who weren't already following you.

Brand films typically run $3,000–$12,000, testimonial or case-study videos $1,500–$4,000, single-camera event coverage $1,500–$5,000 a day, and multi-camera live production $8,000 and up. The number depends on shoot days, locations and how much editing the project needs — we scope it in writing before we start.
Plenty of good ones exist. What we add is a broadcast news background and the rest of the job — PR, paid media and web — under one roof, so the video comes with a plan to get seen. Downtown Greenville is about thirty minutes from our office, and we shoot there regularly.
Yes. A lot of our production work is overflow capacity for in-house teams at larger Upstate employers — we take the brief, match your brand standards and deliver in your formats.
Yes — from a single-camera stream to multi-camera live switching with graphics. We use LiveU bonded cellular when venue internet can't be trusted and can deliver to YouTube, Vimeo, Zoom, Teams or an SRT feed.
Most brand films and testimonials take three to six weeks from kickoff to delivery. Event selects can be turned around the same day.
Yes. Our operators are FAA Part 107 certified. Parts of the county are inside controlled airspace around GSP and the downtown airport, so we handle authorization during planning.
