Sermonix — AI for the church planter’s week
Most pastors at a new or small church are doing five jobs at once. File Migrator — Move out of Box without the IT project
Plenty of organizations signed up for Box years ago and now actually live in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, or AWS. Getting the files out usually means one of two things: an expensive enterprise migration service that wants your credentials and your data, or a bare command-line tool somebody has to babysit. File Migrator sits in between.
It’s a desktop app for macOS and Windows. Connect your Box account, pick where the files should go — Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3, OneDrive for Business, or a plain local folder — and watch the migration run from a guided four-step workspace. Everything runs on your own computer with your own accounts. Credentials live in your operating system’s keychain, never on a Sidestreet server, and the Box source is left exactly as you found it.
The useful part is what can happen while files are in motion. File Migrator reads photo capture dates and camera metadata, runs local OCR on scanned images, verifies every file against Box’s checksum before it lands, and — only if you turn it on — uses your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini key to help classify, summarize, and name messy collections as they move.

File Migrator is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that moves files out of Box and into Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3, OneDrive for Business, or a local folder. It runs entirely on your own computer using your own accounts, stores credentials in the OS keychain, leaves the Box source unchanged, and verifies every file by checksum on the way through. Along the way it can read photo metadata, OCR scanned images, and optionally use your own AI provider key to help organize what’s moving. It’s currently in early access.
Yes. All three are in-house Sidestreet products. We’ve spent fifteen years working inside the church world and with brands and growing companies, and these apps are where we’ve put that experience into software we’d want to use ourselves.
